ADAM STONE MUSIC
THE ALBUM'S STORY
I am very proud of this project. My goal was to record a mix of styles of music ranging from country, pop and religious, to easy listening/light rock. As any songwriter can tell you, each one of these songs has pieces of my emotions, feelings and experiences throughout.
Country Sunshine
Everyone knows what it is like to be feeling good on a beautiful day when you can ride with the windows down and the radio up. It is even better when you can ride on country roads (nothing better than that my friends) EXCEPT having a beautiful lady in the passenger seat.
On Broadway Tonight
No question about it - this is my traditional country song. Line dancers get ready! Let the foot stomping begin! This song could be described as my autobiography...struggling singer wanting to make it big. Broadway Street is music row in Nashville, TN., and a street that I have walked many a mile on. This one is dedicated to all the honky tonks!
Ray of Hope
This song has been deemed my "wedding song." It is my love song. I wrote this song years ago and actually recorded it on my first album in Nashville, TN. I wanted to redo it and add a little more of an acoustic flavor. If you want a special song for that special lady in your life - this is it.
Victory Mountain
What a special story that is behind this song. My wife, Terri, wrote this song for her father. He had a long fight with cancer and passed away in 2008. This song became his anthem the last few months of his life. Everyone has had a mountain to climb at one time or another in their life. This song reminds you that no matter how hard your battle, you have God on your side. Through God all things are possible.
Down and Out
Most of us have had relationships end poorly and made us question we even wanted to get involved in another one EVER! This song is about a man that gets hurt and doesn't want to be left "down and out" again.
Which Way to Go
A song I think everyone can relate to - which way do I go? This song is about all of the different ways we can choose to go in life, and all the signs that we try to read that are trying to show us the right way. I wonder which way I should go next? Who knows.
